ASDB advocates for transparency and accountability mechanisms that promote openness, integrity, and ethical conduct in public administration.

Citizen Engagement and Participation

Facilitating platforms and mechanisms for citizen engagement and participation in governance processes, including citizen feedback mechanisms, public consultations, and participatory budgeting initiatives.

Promotion of Human Rights and Social Justice

Upholding the rule of law and promoting access to justice are fundamental principles of good governance. ASDB supports efforts to strengthen legal and judicial systems, enhance access to justice for all individuals, and promote the rule of law as a cornerstone of democratic governance.

Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening

Providing training and technical assistance to government institutions to strengthen their capacity in areas such as policy formulation, strategic planning, budgeting, and service delivery.

Promotion of Democratic Governance

Supporting democratic governance processes, including free and fair elections, independent media, and civil society participation, as well as efforts to strengthen democratic institutions and practices.
